Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer and songwriter, whose stories of childhood heartache gained widespread recognition in the beginning of the 21st century. Swift was a fan of music as early as age and she progressed quickly from roles in children's theatre to her first appearance before an audience of thousands. Swift was just 11 when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. After that she wrote her first songs, and also began playing guitar. Drawing inspiration from country music artists such as Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original lyrics that expressed her feelings of being a tween and feeling alienated. Swift relocated from Pennsylvania with her family in the state of Tennessee to Hendersonville when she was 13 to commit more time to wooing bands of the country genre in Nashville.
